My Story
Lingualive was born long before the first line of code was written.
I have spent more than a decade working as an interpreter, helping people communicate across languages and cultures. Throughout those years, I came to understand that, while professional interpreting services exist, there are very few practical tools that people can use in their everyday lives to overcome language barriers on their own.
The idea for Lingualive came during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. I was unemployed, in recovery from addiction, and searching for direction and meaning. During that time, I spent many hours asking God what He wanted me to do, what purpose He had for my life, and how I could use my experiences to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
I am not saying Lingualive is my purpose. Rather, Lingualive is the result of an idea inspired by God. Building something meaningful that helps people connect, understand one another, and overcome language barriers became part of the journey He placed before me.
Lingualive is not just another translation app. It is a tool created by someone who has lived through language barriers, spent years helping others overcome them, and understands what it feels like to struggle to communicate. My hope is that every person who uses Lingualive feels heard, understood, and connected, regardless of the language they speak.
